Possession of explosives, violation of border regulations

(Baonghean.vn) -On April 9, at Lach Quen checkpoint, Border Guard Station 148 (Provincial Border Guard) discovered and arrested vehicle NA 93637 TS owned by Nguyen Van Truc (born in 1971, residing in Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu district), possessing 0.8 kg of explosives and 9 detonators. The station imposed an administrative fine of 5.5 million VND on the vehicle owner to pay to the budget and confiscated the violated items.

From April 7 to 9, Border Guard Station 557 (Nghe An Border Guard) discovered and arrested 5 subjects: Lo Van Anh (born in 1992), Luong Van Tu (born in 1989), Lo Van Xao (born in 1982), Vi Van Noi (born in 1971), all residing in Luc Da commune, Con Cuong district, and Nguyen Van Trung (born in 1976, residing in Thinh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) for violating border regulations.
