Accordingly, the retail prices of petroleum products remain the same as 15 days ago despite the high prices of this product on the world market. Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline remains at VND17,210, RON 95 is VND18,540, diesel is VND15,850, and kerosene is VND14,880 per liter.
Instead of increasing prices, the operator decided to release the fuel price stabilization fund. The fund's expenditure for E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by VND801, up to VND2,801 per liter; RON 95 gasoline had a fund release of VND2,061, up VND811 compared to the previous management period; and fuel oil was VND240, up to VND1,640. In contrast, the fund release for kerosene and diesel decreased by VND11-18 per liter.
The operator said that the average price of finished petroleum products in the world in the past 15 days increased by more than 6%, specifically each barrel of RON 92 oil (used to blend E5 RON 92 gasoline) is 71.307 USD, RON 95 is 72.925 USD...
The price of E100 ethanol used to calculate the base price of E5RON92 gasoline according to the official dispatch of the Ministry of Finance on petroleum business management is 15,442 VND per liter (excluding VAT).
Keeping gasoline prices unchanged in this adjustment period is believed to preserve room for electricity price increases, which are expected to increase by more than 8.3% at the end of March.
