Make a good impression through the Spring Meeting with Investors 2019
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 21, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee held an extraordinary meeting to conduct a final review of preparations for the Spring Meeting with Investors 2019.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, relevant departments, branches and sectors.

According to the report of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, at the conference, the province will hold a ceremony to grant investment approval decisions and investment registration certificates for 13 projects with a total investment of 7,703 billion VND; sign a Memorandum of Understanding on investment cooperation for 18 projects with a total estimated investment of 14,274 billion VND. The conference also signed a Memorandum of Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation between Nghe An province and Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd.; sign a Cooperation Agreement between Nghe An province and the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade. In addition, Nghe An province will reward 15 enterprises with outstanding achievements in investment activities in 2018.

As part of the conference program, delegates will attend and witness the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the TH Group's Nui Tien Pure Water and Fruit Juice Factory in Nghia Son Commune, Nghia Dan District; the opening of 4 flight routes from Vinh by Bamboo Airways; the opening of the Vinh - Bangkok (Thailand) flight route, the putting into use of Vinh Airport International Terminal by Vietjet Air; the inauguration of the DKC Petroleum Depot and the announcement of the DKC Petroleum Port by Thien Minh Duc Group Joint Stock Company.

It is expected that about 750 invited delegates will attend the 2019 Spring Investor Meeting, including more than 80 delegates who are leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Ministries, Central agencies and provinces and cities, 228 international delegates, 53 delegates representing large enterprises across the country, and nearly 160 delegates from other enterprises.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh affirmed that the Meeting with Investors is an extremely important event for the province. The conference has the participation of many senior leaders of the Party and State, as well as the presence of domestic and international delegations. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and sectors must carefully inspect and review all stages and procedures so that the conference and sideline activities take place smoothly and successfully.
The Provincial Party Secretary noted that, drawing on experience from previous conferences, the assigned departments and sub-committees need to actively adhere to the proposed content and plan; not to let any unnecessary mistakes happen. The sub-committees: content, reception and logistics, security and health, information and propaganda need to have smooth coordination from the stage of welcoming delegates, to supporting travel and translation for international delegates as well as arranging participation in activities on the sidelines of the conference. The organizing committee needs to assign forces on duty at scientific and reasonable locations, avoiding overlap or lack of people when it is necessary to handle technical issues... All must ensure that the conference and sideline activities take place solemnly, successfully, creating a good impression.
