(Baonghean.vn) - On April 19th, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized a delegation to inspect the progress of land clearance and traffic safety at the site of the National Highway 1A upgrade project in Nghe An province. The delegation was led by Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

In Vinh City and Nghi Loc District, households subject to relocation have received compensation and moved to new residences, creating favorable conditions for construction units to accelerate progress. In Hoang Mai Town, in recent days, the entire political system has been involved, supporting people in dismantling structures, trees, and houses to hand over the land to the construction units.

The QL1A bypass section around the Nha Le canal in Nghi Loc has had its land handed over, and the construction unit has completed many items of the project.

To date, Nghe An province has 3 localities that have completed the land handover process: Vinh City, Nghi Loc district, and Hoang Mai town, with a total length of 73.27km/73.8km, reaching 99%. Currently, Quynh Luu and Dien Chau districts still have some households that have not yet handed over the land.

In areas where the land has been handed over, construction units are concentrating all their manpower and machinery, working three shifts, including holidays, to ensure the project is put into use as soon as possible.

The leaders of Dien Chau district pledged to focus on propaganda and mobilization efforts to complete the land clearance work within the next few days.

In Dien Chau district, there are still 33 households that have not handed over the land.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien requested that the local authorities of Quynh Luu district make greater efforts in mobilization and propaganda work, ensuring that contractors can begin construction as soon as land is handed over by the local authorities.

Some households in Quynh Van (Quynh Luu) have not yet complied with the government's policy and have not handed over the land to the construction units.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien commended the positive spirit and attitude of the local authorities and people in areas where land handover was on schedule and where the State's policies and guidelines were well-implemented. Regarding areas still facing obstacles, Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien requested that local departments, agencies, and organizations continue to persuade the people to understand that the State's policy on expanding National Highway 1A contributes to the industrialization and modernization of the country, for a prosperous people and a strong nation; everything must be for the national interest, and no difficulties or obstacles should be created in the land clearance process.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien commended the efforts of the Hoang Mai town government in completing the land clearance work for National Highway 1A.

Residents of Hoang Mai town are actively dismantling structures and handing over the land to the construction unit.

After conducting awareness campaigns and mobilization efforts, in areas facing difficulties, we will coordinate to organize security for the construction site, creating favorable conditions for the contractor to complete the project on schedule.
