(Baonghean.vn) - During the night, thieves sneaked into a cattle shed belonging to a household in Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan district, and butchered a calf, stealing its two hind legs.

According to initial information, on the morning of the same day, Mr. Phan Van Chien, residing in Van Loc 2 hamlet, went to check on his cow shed and discovered that his calf had been slaughtered a few meters away from the shed. At the scene, the calf had been butchered, with its two hind legs, internal organs, and two front legs removed, while its head remained intact.

"This is the first time in the commune that such a brazen theft has occurred, where thieves butchered and stole the legs of a calf belonging to a local resident. The police are currently continuing their investigation and reviewing CCTV footage from residents' homes to track down the culprit," Mr. Ngo Sy Cuong added.
