Vietnamese Science Journal on list of prestigious US publications

For the first time, a Vietnamese scientific journal has been included in the ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) database by Thomson Reuters - including prestigious and objective American journals.

That is Advances in Natural Sciences: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ANSN) published by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in collaboration with IOP Publishing in the UK.

After being included in the Scopus data system since 2014, Vietnamese journals have been included in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) database by Thomson Reuters based on the impact factor (IF), according to the Vietnam Science and Technology Magazine.

ISI is a rich database with more than 10,000 documents that are objectively selected and processed by experts to classify by field. ISI's evaluation criteria and statistics are used by most science and technology organizations as the main reference source to evaluate and rank the research capacity of an institute, university or a country.
