BRG Group and Hong Kong consultants study planning along Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 22, at a working session with BRG Group and P&T Group headquartered in Hong Kongwith hundreds of years of experience in the field of design consulting,Provincial leaders and leaders of the two corporations discussed the necessary contents to carry out planning work on both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard.

At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh happily welcomed representatives of BRG and P&T Groups to work in the province; at the same time, he affirmed that Nghe An authorities will actively coordinate with these two units to smoothly implement planning consultancy work on both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard.
Attending the meeting, on Nghe An province side, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Departments of Construction, Transport and some related localities. On the side of BRG Group, there was Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Deputy General Director of the Group; leader of P&T Group headquartered in Hong Kong. |
Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong said that Vinh - Cua Lo Avenue is a highlight, a growth axis, shortening the distance between Vinh City and Cua Lo Town of the expanded Vinh urban area, including the entire Cua Lo Town according to Decision 52 dated January 14, 2015 of the Prime Minister approving the adjustment of the general planning of Vinh City, Nghe An Province to 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Based on such important requirements and locations, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the province needs a consulting unit with vision and qualifications to plan projects and areas that create highlights along both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard.

Appreciating the goodwill and experience of BRG and P&T corporations in design consultancy, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong requested the Department of Construction to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the steps to sign contracts and carry out procedures for the consulting unit to carry out consultancy and design along both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard. At the same time, the Department of Construction was assigned to preside with the Vinh City People's Committee and related sectors and localities to provide all necessary documents, data and data related to planning work to the partners.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned the responsibility and assigned the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien to direct, monitor and resolve related issues so that the consulting unit can quickly and conveniently implement and soon complete the planning to announce and call for secondary investors to invest along both sides of the Avenue. Thereby, there will be beautiful works, with highlights, worthy of the stature of Vinh City in the future.

On behalf of the group, BRG Group Deputy General Director Tran Anh Tuan affirmed that he will coordinate best with P&T Group and arrange the best experts of the two groups to focus on providing the best and most effective ideas for planning along both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard.
At the meeting, leaders and experts of BRG and P&T Groups exchanged with provincial authorities relevant information on population, traffic, planning, projects, etc. along both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard.
Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard Project (approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 994/QD-UBND-CN dated March 3, 2010 and approved for adjustment on May 2, 2012) has a total investment of VND 4,157 billion from the state budget with a length of 10.8km, according to urban main street standards. From 2012 to present, the project has allocated 563 billion VND, of which the State Treasury loan is 400 billion VND, the provincial budget is 163 billion VND to implement site clearance on the entire route and construct package No. 5, which is more than 3km long. Currently, 6.4/10.8km of land has been cleared, mainly sections passing through agricultural land and have been fenced with barbed wire and concrete pillars to prevent encroachment. However, with the Government only allocating 1,100 billion VND from medium-term capital, the Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard project was forced to adjust its scale compared to the original. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee met and agreed on a plan to adjust the roadbed scale from 160m to 95m. |
