Thanking the Vietnam Rubber Group for their support, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Duc Phoc announced some outstanding achievements in the province's socio-economic development in recent times. The Provincial Party Secretary also affirmed that Nghe An province's socio-economic development can only progress steadily if the western region of the province is strongly developed. With specific and long-term orientations, many suitable and economically efficient production areas have been established in the western districts of Nghe An. These include the development of forests and crops such as rubber, oranges, tea, sugarcane, and passion fruit; and the expansion of large-scale livestock farming, including dairy cows, native buffaloes, and pigs.
Western Nghe An province has great potential for developing crops suitable to its soil conditions, including rubber trees. Therefore, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc expressed his hope that the leaders of the Vietnam Rubber Group and its member units would continue to pay attention to the province's rubber industry, focusing on the well-being of workers and farmers cultivating this unique industrial crop. On behalf of Nghe An province, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and relevant agencies and departments will implement policies and create all necessary conditions to help the Group successfully implement its rubber plantation expansion strategy. On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc also conveyed New Year greetings from the Party Committee and people of Nghe An to the leaders and staff of the Vietnam Rubber Group.
