At the 2016 Guangzhou Auto Show held in November last year, GM officially launched a new small SUV model called Baojun 510. |

To date, this small SUV model has been launched in the Chinese market with a "startlingly" low price, ranging from 54,800 - 69,800 Yuan, equivalent to 8,000 - 10,000 USD or 181 - 231 million VND. |

GM seems to be focusing a lot of its efforts on expanding its small SUV lineup. In addition to the Baojun 510, the company has other small SUVs available such as the Chevrolet Trax, Buick Encore, and Opel Mokka. In addition, GM is currently developing a new premium small SUV called the Cadillac XT3. |

In fact, the Baojun 510 is a joint venture between GM and the Chinese company SAIC. Unfortunately, this "shockingly" cheap SUV was developed exclusively for the Chinese market. With the above price, the Baojun 510 is aimed directly at first-time car buyers in China. |

According to GM Group, Baojun 510 has an overall length of 4,220 mm, width of 1,740 mm, height of 1,605 mm and wheelbase of 2,550 mm. |

On the outside, the Baojun 510 features GM's new design language. It has a new grille and slim LED headlights called "Future Eye". In Chinese, Baojun means "noble horse" so there is a horse head logo on the front of the car. |

The sides have black pillars, giving the impression that the roof is floating in the air. Meanwhile, behind the Baojun 510, there are unique taillights. |

Despite being a super cheap car, the Baojun 510 still comes with a fairly fully equipped interior. Inside the car is a two-tone interior with a flat-bottom steering wheel, many metal details... |

... and an 8-inch touchscreen mounted vertically on the dashboard. |

In addition, the car is also equipped with a half-open panoramic sunroof, automatic air conditioning, keyless entry, push-button engine start, and electric folding and heated exterior mirrors. |

| The Baojun 510's engine is a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces a maximum capacity of 111 horsepower and a maximum torque of 147 Nm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. It is expected that in the future, the Baojun 510 will be supplemented with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. |
