Muong Thanh Group: Many activities towards the poor

Since then, the enterprise has continuously grown and become a private corporation operating in many fields: construction and tourism business, real estate investment; commercial project business, financial business... What is admirable is that the corporation devotes a lot of resources to social security activities in Nghe An.

The field of operation that the group left the most impression is the hotel chain named "Muong Thanh" from North to South. In 2013, the group was certified by the Vietnam Record Organization as the largest private hotel chain in Vietnam. Along with the success in the hotel service business, Muong Thanh Group has also achieved many successes in the construction and real estate business by launching many segments that attract a large number of customers to participate.

In Nghe An, Muong Thanh Group is well known for its investment project of Muong Thanh Hotel Trade Center in Dien Chau town, followed by the General Hospital and Private High School in Dien Yen commune (Dien Chau). After the successful start of the project in Nghe An, with the support of the province, Muong Thanh Group has large-scale investment projects in the locality. Along with taking over to upgrade to Muong Thanh Thanh Nien hotel, the group invested in building Muong Thanh Vinh hotel, then Muong Thanh Song Lam, Muong Thanh Cua Lo. Recently, after taking over Phuong Dong hotel and changing its name to Muong Thanh Phuong Dong, the group is implementing the construction of a hotel in Hung Loc commune (Vinh city).

In parallel with effectively operating the existing hotel chain, implementing the business strategy and investment commitment to the province, Muong Thanh Group is urgently completing investment procedures to build a hotel in Hoang Mai town, a hotel service complex project in Con Cuong town, Con Cuong district; investing in a key high-end sports and entertainment complex in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city (next to Muong Thanh Vinh Hotel - Vinh Station); continuing to invest in expanding the natural and spiritual eco-tourism project in Dien Lam commune (Dien Chau).

It can be said that many projects invested by Muong Thanh Group in Nghe An have become highlights in the development process of each locality. The most obvious are Muong Thanh Dien Chau Hotel, Muong Thanh Song Lam or Muong Thanh Cua Lo. In the past 10 years, the total capital that the group has invested in projects in Nghe An is over tens of thousands of billions of VND. Through business activities in the area, the group has created jobs for thousands of workers who are children of Nghe An with stable income, increasing revenue for the local budget...

Along with improving the efficiency of production and business activities, it is commendable that the group devotes a lot of resources to social security activities. Not to mention the sponsorship and extraordinary donations according to the programs, on average each year Muong Thanh Group spends about 10 billion VND to carry out social security activities, helping the poor, in which it pays great attention to Nghe An when it spends from 3 to 4 billion VND. In addition to gifts on festivals and Tet Binh Than 2016, in response to the Provincial Party Secretary's call to care for the poor during Tet, the group donated more than 1 billion VND, of which over 619 million VND was given to poor households.

Not only giving gifts and objects, the group regularly has activities that are profound and have profound humanistic meanings. The group also accompanies media and press agencies in poor rural areas and mountainous areas to carry out charitable activities to multiply good and kind-hearted people. In addition, the group also sponsors programs "When drinking water, remember its source" such as: Building a memorial house for comrade Phung Chi Kien in Dien Yen commune (Dien Chau); upgrading the 1930 - 1931 martyrs' memorial in Dien Chau; sponsoring Vinh City Police with hundreds of millions of VND to build houses of gratitude, helping families of officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances; sponsoring the event to honor Nghe folk songs and receive the title of Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In particular, every year on the occasion of Lunar New Year, the group also uses the "Muong Thanh Humanitarian" Fund to organize Chung cake wrapping between the group's hotels, giving hundreds of pairs of Chung cakes and ham to poor and disadvantaged children at social protection centers in the province.

Along with the above activities, to help poor households improve their lives, the group also established a social security fund to set up a “cow bank” and sponsor the “Golden Bell” program nationwide. The group assigned hotels to help a locality; and directly gave gifts to poor households in the wards and communes where the hotels are located. Through this activity, each year the group helps hundreds of families in difficult circumstances improve their lives…

In addition to social charity activities, one of the strategic priorities of Muong Thanh Group is to invest in more projects in Nghe An to create more jobs, attracting Nghe An children to return to their hometown to work.
