2015 All-Army Lecturer Training Course
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 16th, at the Headquarters of Military Region 4, the Propaganda Department of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army inaugurated the 2015 training course for military lecturers in the Central region.

Attending the opening ceremony of the training course were Major General Ho Ba Vinh, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department, General Political Department; Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region 4; representatives of agencies and units under Military Region 4, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, and 120 lecturers from units directly under the Ministry of National Defense in the Central region.

Over the course of five days, 120 trainees, who are speakers from units directly under the Ministry of National Defense in the Central region, were introduced to four topics: Oral propaganda work and the activities of speakers in the Vietnam People's Army; Methods for preparing outlines and presenting oral propaganda; Understanding, evaluating, and guiding public opinion at the grassroots level; and Preparing an outline for a news briefing on in-depth current events for officers, party members, and soldiers at the grassroots level.
In addition, the training course included discussions on the plan to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and national reunification, the 70th anniversary of Military Region 4, the 60th anniversary of the Navy, and some prominent international issues. Participants also practiced a current affairs briefing at several units of Military Region 4 in Vinh City, visited historical sites, and interacted with exemplary advanced units of Military Region 4.
The 2015 All-Army Public Speaker Training Course aimed to equip and train the team of public speakers from various units with basic knowledge of the theory and practice of oral propaganda and public speaker activities in the army; contributing to building and improving the quality and capacity of public speakers and propagandists in the army, and enhancing the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda work in the new situation.
Prior to the opening ceremony, the training course included a wreath-laying ceremony at the Memorial Monument of the 4th Military Region Museum.
