Training on army air defense and people's air defense

(Baonghean.vn) –On the morning of May 30th, the Provincial Military Command organized the opening ceremony of the 2013 training course on army air defense and people's air defense.

The training course was attended by 62 comrades, including Deputy Chiefs of Staff, Deputy Battalion Commanders, Deputy Company Commanders, and part-time air defense officers from various agencies and units.

The training course aims to supplement and standardize several aspects of army air defense work, such as: guidance on drafting plans for avoiding and countering enemy fire attacks by district, city, and town military commands; guidance on drafting air defense training plans; and guidance on the training process and organization of live firing exercises for anti-aircraft guns and artillery. It also aims to supplement and standardize several aspects of people's air defense work at the district, city, town, and commune levels, such as: guidance on drafting people's air defense plans at the district and commune levels; the content of reports and proposals from air defense assistants during district, city, and town defense zone exercises; and the order of content at people's air defense conferences during district, city, and town defense zone exercises. This will serve as a basis for advising local Party committees and authorities on the implementation of people's air defense tasks and future air defense deployment, meeting the requirements of training, exercises, and combat readiness.

This training course will run until June 2nd.
