Religious work training

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, the Provincial People's Committee opened a training course on religious affairs for key officials at the provincial and district levels. Attending were comrade Pham Dung - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs; on the side of Nghe An province were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors, and delegates from 20 districts, cities and towns.

This is a training course to improve state management of religion. During the 2 days of August 20-21, delegates were given a speech by Mr. Pham Dung - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and Head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs on a number of issues related to religion and the guiding viewpoints of the leaders of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs. In addition, delegates also learned some basic contents on: Viewpoints and policies of the Party and State on religious affairs; The current situation and state management of emerging religious activities; Catholicism and state management of Catholic activities; The situation and ensuring religious security.

The class also absorbs some contents such as: Marxism-Leninism on religion; Ho Chi Minh's thought on religion; Religion in the context of globalization; State relations and religious organizations in the world in history and modern times.

After this training course, the facilities will return to implement in accordance with the direction of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, including strictly implementing the management of religious activities in the area.
