Training on guidelines for mapping and collecting martyrs' remains

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 27, at Military Region 4, National Steering Committee 1237 coordinated with Steering Committee 1237 of Military Region 4 to organize a training course on how to create a map to search for and collect martyrs' remains.

The training course was chaired by Major General Tran Quoc Dung - Director of the General Department of Politics, Ministry of National Defense, member of the Steering Committee, Chief of Office of the National Steering Committee 1237. Attending the opening of the training course, on the side of Military Region 4 was Major General Nguyen Duc Hoa - Deputy Political Commissar, Head of the Steering Committee 1237 of the Military Region.

During 1 day, nearly 400 policy officers from 87 districts, towns and cities in Military Region 4 were trained by teachers from the Policy Department, General Department of Politics and the Map Department, General Staff.

The guidance contents include: the work of reviewing, verifying, and concluding information on the places of sacrifice and initial burial of martyrs in the area; the work of counting and making a list of martyrs' graves in martyrs' cemeteries; concluding the area; instructions on the work of collecting information, comparing, and concluding on the field; content, process, and techniques for creating maps to search for and collect martyrs' remains; introducing instructions on the management, exploitation, and use of software for the management, search, display, analysis, statistics, and reporting of martyrs and martyrs' graves on the military terrain./.
