Video clip production skills training for reporters

(Baonghean.vn) - That is the goal of the training course organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association in coordination with the Department of Information and Communications and the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association for 2 days, October 19-20.

Attending the training course were comrades: Tran Duy Ngoan - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association, leaders of press agencies in the province, representatives of the Department of Information and Communications, and many trainees who are reporters from 15 press agencies located in Nghe An and the provinces of Ha Nam, Quang Binh and Thua Thien Hue.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, comrade Tran Duy Ngoan - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association affirmed that with the advent of electronic newspapers, information is provided to the public in a more vivid and attractive multimedia form by combining written language, photos, videos, sounds, graphic design, etc.

In recent times, with the strong development of information technology, the press team has had many different ways to strongly approach this type of journalism, contributing to propaganda work in the province. Based on practical needs, the course on video production skills for electronic newspapers was organized to continuously improve the quality of electronic newspapers and electronic information pages through improving the qualifications of the press team.

The training course was taught by journalist Hoang Duc Long - Head of Political and Social Department, News Television Center, Vietnam News Agency. The course content includes the most basic knowledge on how to shoot and edit video clips using both specialized cameras and smartphones to serve products on electronic newspapers and electronic information pages.

Students are directly instructed in operational skills using smartphones.

During the training course, students have many opportunities to practice in groups and individually, apply the content they have just learned, and at the same time learn and share experiences and techniques to produce the highest quality video clips, contributing to increasingly improving the quality of local electronic newspapers and electronic information sites.
