(Baonghean.vn) - On March 25, 2015, in Thanh Ngoc commune, Thanh Chuong district People's Committee, in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology and the Golden Pig Animal Feed Factory, organized a training course on livestock farming techniques using the method of fermenting probiotics combined with the Golden Pig concentrated feed product.

Farmers are trained in the method of fermenting liquid grains with concentrated Golden Pig product in the correct ratio, then soaking them for 6-8 hours to ferment the grains before feeding them to pigs.

This method helps activate the germ and endogenous enzymes in the grain, which are naturally present in grains, to produce lactic acid, acetic acid, etc., and to lower the pH.

On this occasion, the Nghe An Department of Science and Technology and the Golden Pig Feed Factory also conducted a scientific study on biological livestock farming methods at Thanh Ngoc's livestock farms using Golden Pig products.

The results of the model trial show that: the feed cost per kg of weight gain is 17,500 VND/kg. If the cost of the piglets is included, the farmers can make a profit. In addition, they can produce delicious meat products by mainly utilizing corn, cassava, etc.
