Training in document management and archiving
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 5th, in Vinh City, the Archives and Records Management Sub-Department (Department of Internal Affairs) held the opening ceremony of the 2013 archives and records management training course, with the participation of 250 trainees from provincial departments, agencies, and districts, cities, and towns.
Attendees included Mr. Ha Van Hue - Director of the National Archives Center 1; Mr. Nguyen Canh Duong - Former Vice Rector of the Hanoi University of Interior Affairs; and Ms. Cao Thi Hien - Director of the Nghe An Department of Interior Affairs.

Over the course of four days (June 5-9), participants will receive instruction on fundamental and in-depth topics related to document management and archiving, an introduction to archiving law, several sub-legal documents, and especially professional issues related to the protection of state secrets. In addition, participants will be guided by instructors on determining the value of documents, organizing archival documents, managing documents, creating files, and submitting files and documents to the agency's archives. The training aims to enhance the professional skills of document management and archiving staff in agencies and units, affirming the role and importance of document management and archiving in the new context.
