Training in clerical and archival skills

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 5, in Vinh city, the Department of Records and Archives (Department of Home Affairs) organized the opening ceremony of the 2013 training course on records and archives with the participation of 250 students from provincial departments, branches, and sectors and districts, cities, and towns.

Attending the event were Mr. Ha Van Hue - Director of National Archives Center 1; Mr. Nguyen Canh Duong - Former Vice Principal of Hanoi University of Home Affairs; Ms. Cao Thi Hien - Director of Nghe An Department of Home Affairs.

During the 4 days from (June 5-9), the trainees will listen to basic and in-depth topics on document and archive work, introduce the law on archives, some sub-law documents, especially professional issues related to the work of protecting state secrets. In addition, the trainees will also be guided by lecturers on how to determine the value of documents, edit archives, manage documents, create files and submit files and documents to the agency's archives. Through the training course, the aim is to improve the professional skills of the team doing document and archive work at agencies and units, affirming the role and importance of document and archive work in the new situation.
