First aid training for Red Cross volunteers
(Baonghean.vn)- First aid for foreign bodies in the airways, bone and joint injuries and safe transportation of victims are among the contents of the training course.
From March 29 to 31, Nghe An Red Cross organized the second training course on basic first aid for Red Cross volunteers in Dien Chau district.
Here, students are trained in basic first aid skills in the community such as: First aid for foreign bodies in the airway; first aid for unconscious victims; victims with bone and joint injuries; bleeding and safe transportation of victims.

This is a class under the Project on Building Safe Communities Against Climate Change and Disaster Risks funded by Korea and implemented for 3 years (2015 - 2017). Dien Chau is the only district in Nghe An province chosen to implement the project. Participating in the Project's classes, students are equipped with knowledge and full tools to ensure initial first aid.
At the end of the training course, the trainees will be awarded a certificate of completion. They will be the main force in providing first aid for accidents along National Highway 1A of Dien Chau district. In addition, the project also established a community first aid point in Dien Yen commune with full equipment to provide first aid to the community when an accident occurs.
