(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 18th, the Military-Civilian Medical Cooperation Project (Ministry of Health), the Logistics Department, the Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Nghe An Border Guard Command, organized a family medicine training course for border guard medical personnel in 2015.

Sixty comrades working in military medicine on two border defense lines in Nghe An province attended the training course.

Over the course of 10 days, trainees were equipped with knowledge, skills, and principles of family medicine, applying these principles to the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of common emergencies in their units and communities. They also learned about the detection, treatment, and management of some common chronic diseases such as asthma, hypertension, and diabetes.

Trainees are guided on how to plan and practice health monitoring and management for healthy individuals, patients, and households, as well as practicing the examination and treatment of common diseases and emergencies.

The training course aims to equip military medical personnel at border guard posts along the two border lines of Nghe An province with the principles of health examination and management for military personnel, individuals, and households in the border areas of the province.
