Family medicine training for military doctors at Border Guard stations

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 18, the Combined Military-Civilian Medical Project (Ministry of Health), the Logistics Department, the Border Guard Command in coordination with the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized a family medicine training course for military doctors of Border Guard stations in 2015.

60 comrades working in military medicine on two border lines of Nghe An attended the training.

During the 10-day period, students are equipped with knowledge, skills, and principles of family medicine, applying the principles of family medicine to diagnosis and treatment; monitoring and preventing common emergency diseases in the unit and community. Detecting, treating and managing some common chronic diseases such as bronchial asthma, hypertension, diabetes...

Students are instructed on how to plan and practice health monitoring and management for healthy people, patients, and households, and practice examining and treating some common diseases and emergencies.

Through the training course, the military medical staff at the Border Guard stations on the two border lines of Nghe An will be equipped with the principles of health examination and management for soldiers, individuals and households in the border areas of the province./.
