Raid on cockfighting arena "spring opening"

While the subjects were organizing cockfighting for money, they were caught red-handed by criminal detectives from District 11 Police (HCMC).

On the afternoon of January 2, the police of District 11, Ho Chi Minh City announced that they had successfully destroyed a cockfighting spot that attracted a large number of gamblers. The police have detained 10 people to expand the investigation.

Previously, at noon on January 1, 2016, dozens of criminal investigators from District 11 Police suddenly surrounded and caught nearly 40 gamblers organizing cockfighting for money in front of house number 15/70A/36 Hoa Binh (Ward 3, District 11).

At the scene, the police seized a pair of fighting cocks, a watch and nearly 10 million VND in cash. At the police station, the suspects confessed that at the time the police raided the cockfighting ring, it had already organized one match.

During the screening process, the police detained 10 subjects to investigate the act of "gambling".
