High focus on training reserve forces in 2022

(Baonghean.vn) - On March 10, the Provincial Military Command held a Conference on training, drills, and inspection of readiness to mobilize reserve forces in 2022.

Attending the conference were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Comrade Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command chaired the conference.

In 2021, the complicated and prolonged Covid-19 pandemic has affected the mobilization and training of reserve units. The Provincial Military Command has promptly issued documents directing the Military Commands of districts, towns and cities to adjust training plans, times and locations flexibly to each locality; directing localities to vaccinate reserve soldiers and owners of reserve technical equipment against Covid-19.

On the other hand, the Provincial Military Command has also advised local Party committees and authorities to lead and direct the re-inspection, organize the arrangement of staffing, and appoint reserve soldiers to reserve mobilization units. The receiving units have closely coordinated with localities to closely implement regulations on mobilizing reserve soldiers for training and checking their readiness for mobilization.

During the training process, health checks, SARS-CoV2 testing, body temperature measurement, mask wearing, distance keeping and use of disinfectant solutions were always carried out. At the same time, all aspects of training were well prepared, appropriate training content and programs were developed, the number of troops was strictly maintained to complete training targets, the mobilization readiness check of the whole province reached 98.5%, and the alert for mobilization readiness check of reserve technical equipment reached 100%.

At the end of the training, units and localities promptly organized experience sharing, commended collectives and individuals with achievements; criticized, disciplined, and notified localities of soldiers who did not strictly follow military discipline and unit regulations; and organized payment of policies and regimes for reserve forces in accordance with regulations.

At the conference, the Provincial Military Command, Military Commands of districts, towns, cities and units receiving resources discussed and agreed on targets, subjects, time, location of training and mobilization drills; coordinated with localities to check the readiness to mobilize reserve technical equipment at the grassroots level.

In 2022, Nghe An province was assigned by the Prime Minister and the Ministry of National Defense to mobilize, train, practice, and inspect the readiness to mobilize more than 2,500 reserve soldiers and 63 technical vehicles. On that basis, coordinate with the locality to organize a re-examination, unify the number of troops, finalize the list of reserve soldiers for training and reserve technical vehicles for inspection of readiness to mobilize in 2022.

At the conference, the units also signed a contract between the units, creating high unity in implementation./.
