(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 26th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a collective working session to assess the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, and foreign affairs work in the first quarter; to implement key tasks for the second quarter of 2015 and some other important issues.

Attending the event were Comrade Tran Hong Chau – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Xuan Duong – Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Quang Huy, along with members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and leaders of departments and agencies focused on evaluating the socio-economic situation in the first quarter, highlighting many outstanding achievements. The growth rate in the first quarter of 2015 reached 6.22%, higher than the same period in the last three years. Activities celebrating the Lunar New Year were given attention by all levels, sectors, and society as a whole, ensuring safety, joy, and healthiness. Efforts are being made to resolve all procedures for investors to ensure that projects are implemented quickly, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. The work of improving public service ethics and enhancing the capacity of cadres and civil servants is being reformed.
