Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired. Also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

At the meeting, the delegates continued to listen and give their opinions on the following contents: amending Decision 49 on regulations on management of science and technology topics and projects; amending Decision 105/2009/QD-UBND on standards for building estimates of science and technology topics and projects serving science and technology tasks; new construction prices of houses and works as a basis for determining compensation, support and resettlement values when the State reclaims land in 2016 in the province; regulations on management and shared use of technical infrastructure works in urban areas in the province. The above contents basically received high agreement and consensus from the delegates attending the meeting, in addition to some small suggestions for editing so that the draft can be completed and approved soon.

The meeting also spent time listening to the draft report on the 5-year review (2011-2015) of the implementation of Resolution 05-NQ/T.Ư dated October 28, 2011 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on developing Nghe An tourism in the period 2011-2020 and the Draft Directive of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in tourism development in the period 2016-2020.

Comments at the meeting stated that the results achieved in the past 5 years of the tourism industry have not been commensurate with the province's potential. The content of the interim report, in addition to highlighting strengths, needs to clearly indicate what has not been done, the causes and solutions, review and evaluate the leadership role of the Department's leaders, focus on evaluating human resources, facilities, research and exploit the craft village aspect to develop tourism, attract investors to do tourism in the area, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong noted that the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Construction need to seriously absorb and promptly edit the comments and amendments made at the meeting, to complete the draft and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval, promulgation and implementation early next year.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee concluded that the draft reports of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have not been approved yet, and requested the Department to invest more, seriously absorb the opinions at the meeting and coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee Office to soon complete the content of the draft reports. He emphasized that in the coming time, the province will focus on investing, supporting, supplementing and building Nghe An's tourism industry to flourish, meeting the expectations of the people.
Tomorrow morning (December 25), the regular December 2015 meeting of the Provincial People's Committee will enter its final working session.
