(Baonghean.vn) - Focusing on supporting localities to overcome damage caused by natural disasters is one of the key tasks from now until the end of 2022 identified by the Provincial Fund for the Poor and Relief Mobilization Committee.
On the afternoon of September 26, the Provincial Fund for the Poor and Relief Mobilization Committee held a conference to evaluate the results of mobilizing, receiving, managing and using the fund in the first 9 months of 2022 and deploy key tasks in the last months of the year.

Since the beginning of 2022, the Nghe An Provincial Fund for the Poor and Relief Fund has mobilized more than 205 billion VND. Of which, the Tet program "For the Poor" Nham Dan 2022 is 126 billion VND, the fund for the poor is 17 billion VND; the relief fund is more than 44.5 billion VND and the Covid-19 epidemic prevention fund is more than 17.6 billion VND.

According to the assessment, in addition to the effectiveness of the mobilization, the management and use of funds upon receipt were all carried out in accordance with regulations, thereby spreading the strength of solidarity and promoting the spirit of mutual love and affection in the community.

Regarding the key tasks for the last 3 months of 2022, the Steering Committee for the Fund for the Poor and Relief of Nghe An province agreed to propose 6 key tasks to be carried out. Therein, focusing on coordinating well with relevant units to promptly support mountainous districts such as Ky Son, Que Phong, Tuong Duong to overcome damage caused by natural disasters; allocating the Provincial Fund for the Poor to localities in a timely manner, in accordance with regulations; implementing well the peak month for the Poor in 2022 from October 17 to November 18 and preparing for the Tet program for the Poor in Quy Mao 2023; focusing on building data on the needs for housing, livelihood, medical examination and treatment, and production support of the poor to have a plan to call for support for social security in the area...
