Focus on completing the equitization of 432 enterprises.
In 2015, the Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development will focus on directing, guiding, and urging ministries, sectors, localities, economic groups, and state-owned corporations to concentrate on completing the equitization plan for 432 enterprises.

Accordingly, one of the Steering Committee's priorities in 2015 was to advise the Government and the Prime Minister on further improving mechanisms and policies for the arrangement, reform, and restructuring of state-owned enterprises (SOEs); the operation of enterprises with 100% state capital; and the inspection and supervision of SOE operations.
At the same time, the government directed, guided, and urged ministries, sectors, localities, economic groups, and state-owned corporations to accelerate the restructuring and equitization of 100% state-owned enterprises in the 2014-2015 period according to the restructuring plan and scheme approved by the Prime Minister, focusing on completing the equitization plan for 432 enterprises.
Based on the criteria and classification list of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) issued with Decision No. 37/2014/QD-TTg dated June 18, 2014, of the Prime Minister, review and supplement enterprises requiring equitization and divestment of state capital, and submit them to the Prime Minister (Q1); develop a comprehensive plan for the arrangement and restructuring of SOEs under its direct management for the period 2016-2020, and submit it to the Prime Minister (Q3).
The Steering Committee will also focus on directing, guiding, and urging ministries, sectors, localities, economic groups, and state-owned corporations to develop comprehensive plans for restructuring agricultural and forestry companies in accordance with Government Decree No. 118/2014/ND-CP dated December 17, 2014 (for ministries, sectors, localities, economic groups, and state-owned corporations that have agricultural and forestry companies), reporting to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for appraisal, and submitting them to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval (Q2).
Another key task of the Steering Committee is to monitor and urge the implementation of Vinashin's restructuring according to the Government's Resolution and the restructuring plan approved by the Prime Minister; to summarize the work of reorganizing and reforming state-owned enterprises in the period 2011-2015, and to develop a plan for restructuring state-owned enterprises in 2016-2020 (Fourth Quarter).
In particular, the Steering Committee will strengthen and proactively carry out information and communication work, creating high consensus and agreement among sectors, levels, businesses, and the people in implementing the task of restructuring state-owned enterprises.
