Nghe An fishing boat 'running' storm number 3 was washed ashore by waves
Military forces and the Farmers' Association of Nghi Thuy Ward, Cua Lo Town have just successfully rescued a fishing boat that was washed away by waves.
On the afternoon of September 6, Mr. Nguyen Tien Loi - Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Nghi Thuy Ward said that the military force and members of the Farmers' Association of the ward promptly and successfully rescued a fishing boat of fishermen that was washed ashore by waves.
Accordingly, at around 0:00 a.m. the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh's boat in Yen Son block, Nghi Thuy ward, with license plate NA 70219 TS, while operating, noticed a storm and tried to run to shore to avoid the storm. However, strong winds and a lot of water caused the boat to sink. After that, the boat was pushed up against the rocks at Vissai Nghi Thiet Port (Nghi Loc).

Upon receiving the fishermen's report, the ward farmers' association quickly advised the local Party Committee and government to mobilize military forces, with the core being the maritime militia platoon, to carry out a rescue plan.
Despite the unfavorable weather, rough seas and large waves, the forces quickly and successfully salvaged the fishing boat of fisherman Nguyen Van Thinh and 3 crew members. The boat is currently being towed safely to shore.
