Fishing boat and 16 fishermen in distress send out distress signal at sea
(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 1 day of being in an accident at sea, the fishing boat of fishermen from Quynh Luu district and its crew members were received by Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station and handed over to the local authorities.
Previously, at 6:00 a.m. on March 11, while fishing in the Northeast sea area of Cua Hoi, fishing boat with license plate NA 97768TS captained by Mr. Pham Van Cong in Quynh Long, Quynh Luu had a rudder failure that could not be repaired, and the captain requested emergency rescue.

After receiving the information, the Coast Guard dispatched ship 1014 to set out for the rescue. Despite the strong winds and waves, at 10:30 a.m. the same day, the rescue ship was able to approach the distressed ship and tow it to Lach Quen fishing port in Quynh Luu district.

After bringing the wrecked ship ashore, the coast guard completed procedures to hand over the fishing boat and 16 fishermen to Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard and local authorities.
