A Chinese naval fleet, including missile destroyer 150/Chang Chun and missile frigate 532/Jing Zhou, along with more than 500 officers and crew members, led by Rear Admiral Shen Hao, deputy commander of the East Sea Fleet, docked at Ho Chi Minh City International Port on May 6 for an official friendship visit to Vietnam, according to VNA.

The three-day visit of two Chinese warships aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries' armies and navies, contributing to promoting the Vietnam-China "Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership" to become increasingly deeper and more effective.

During his visit to Vietnam, the Chinese warship commander paid courtesy calls to the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Military Region 7 Command, Naval Region 2, and visited the 171st Naval Brigade.
