Oil tanker caught fire at Dinh Vu port
Oil tanker Hai Ha 18 caught fire fiercely at Dinh Vu Port, Hai Phong on the evening of March 10.
At around 4:30 p.m. on March 10, at the wharf area of the Military Petroleum Company, Dinh Vu port, Hai An, Hai Phong, the oil tanker Hai Ha 18, which was parked at the port area, caught fire fiercely.

According to some witnesses, while they were working there, they saw smoke rising from the Hai Ha 18 ship. Just a few minutes later, the fire broke out and burned fiercely.
The Hai Phong Port Authority said that upon receiving the news, the unit sent rescue ships and officers to join the firefighting force to put out the fire. However, because the vessel was an oil tanker, the fire flared up very strongly, making it difficult to control.
As of 7:20 p.m. tonight, the ship is still on fire. Hai Phong City mobilized all firefighting forces from ports and related units to focus on rescuing the ship both underwater and onshore.
According to initial information there were no casualties.
