Vietnamese Navy ship concludes visit to China.
On the morning of June 30th, the HQ 011 and HQ 012 ships of the Vietnam People's Navy docked at Cam Ranh Naval Port, concluding their 15th joint patrol with the Chinese Navy and a visit to Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province (China).

During the patrol, Vietnamese and Chinese naval vessels combined training in the use of light signals and radio communication. In particular, towards the end of the patrol, the two navies jointly practiced search and rescue operations at sea.
In addition to conducting joint patrols with Chinese Navy ships, ships HQ 011 and HQ 012 also participated in courtesy calls to leaders of the Zhanjiang city government and the South China Sea Fleet Command; visited joint patrol vessels of the South China Sea Fleet and exchanged experiences in maritime patrol operations; engaged in friendly sports and cultural exchanges with units under the South China Sea Fleet Command; and visited several scenic spots in Zhanjiang city.
The joint patrol and exchange with the Chinese Navy by ships HQ 011 and HQ 012 contributed to strengthening the friendly relations, mutual understanding, and trust between the armed forces and navies of Vietnam and China, while also enhancing the effectiveness of coordinated operations to maintain order and security in the Gulf of Tonkin, thereby creating a friendly atmosphere and minimizing the risks of collisions and conflicts at sea.
