Bullet train reaches dizzying speed of 1,200km/h
Elon Musk has just announced plans to build a VicHyper bullet train across Australia, from Melbourne to Sydney, in just 53 minutes.
In 2013, billionaire Elon Musk claimed that he could take passengers 610km from Los Angeles to San Francisco in 30 minutes, half the flight time.
Recently, he announced a very bold technology to conquer distances, which will be implemented by the end of 2017.

Melbourne transport designers are currently studying the feasibility of the project and expect construction to begin later this year, at a cost of up to $40 million and with help from Elon Musk.
VicHyper CEO Zac McLelland asserted: ''The technology to complete such a high-speed train system will be completed within five years''.
The system is built discreetly and will suck all the air out to create a vacuum pipe that stretches across Australia connecting two major cities together.

The pipeline system will run above ground through rural areas and underground through urban areas. |

Melbourne's Chief Minister Martine Letts said: ''To compete internationally and deliver the best products for the Australian economy, it is imperative that Melbourne and Sydney work together.''
Mr. Elon Musk affirmed: ''I will make that dream come true, when we have the technology to conquer the distance''.
If all goes to plan, the bullet train will be taking passengers across Australia by 2022.
