This is the 32nd intrusion by Chinese ships into the area this year.
The Senkaku/Diaoyu Islands are a small group of islands located about 400km west of the main island of Okinawa Prefecture, currently controlled by Japan, but also claimed by China and regularly sends ships or planes to these waters.
The sovereignty dispute has caused tension in relations between the two countries over the past time, especially after Tokyo nationalized 3 out of 5 islands here in September 2012./.
