(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 27, many fishing boats in Quynh Luu returned to port after many days of fishing at sea. In particular, an iron-hulled boat built according to Decree 67 caught a big 5 tons of hairtail fish, earning 530 million VND/night.

The fish caught by Mr. Danh's boat (Quynh Long commune) was a big hit with 5 tons of fish.

It is an iron-hulled boat with registration number NA 99929 built under Decree 67 by fisherman Tran Xuan Danh in Dai Bac village, Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu). The boat was built at a cost of 18 billion VND and has been in operation for nearly 3 months with the fishing method of using lead-stripped purse seine.

During the third offshore trip, on December 26, the fishing boat of fisherman Tran Xuan Danh was fishing in the waters of Thanh Hoa - Nghe An when he discovered a school of needlefish through the horizontal detector system; immediately, the crew on the boat turned back, threw the net and caught them.

After nearly 3 hours of fishing, the fishermen caught more than 5 tons of hairtail for export. With a large catch, the crew immediately cleaned up their nets and returned to shore this morning, December 27. The trip lasted less than 6 days and in just one lucky night, the fishing boat caught 5 tons of hairtail, earning 530 million VND.

Hairtail fish are often exported.

Fisherman Tran Xuan Danh happily said: "This is the third offshore trip after putting the boat into operation, this trip is luckier than the previous two. After this trip, we will continue on two more trips before returning home for Tet, hoping to be as lucky as this trip."

At Lach Quen port (Quynh Thuan), dozens of cars came to buy seafood for fishermen in the joy of a good fish and squid season. On this trip, many fishing boats were lucky and had high yields. On average, each boat went out to sea for 5-10 days, fishermen caught dozens of tons of various types of fish, earning from 100 - 300 million VND, some from 300 - 500 million VND.

Other ships also caught a lot of fish and squid.
