(Baonghean.vn) - At approximately 9:30 PM tonight (December 24th), a traffic accident occurred on National Highway 1A in Cau Giat town (Quynh Luu district) between a taxi and a motorbike, resulting in one person being hospitalized in critical condition.

Traffic police are conducting an investigation at the scene.

At that time, Nguyen Van Ha, an 11th-grade student from Quynh Luu I High School, residing in Quynh My commune (Quynh Luu district), was riding his motorbike (license plate 37L7 4303) from Vinh to Hanoi when he reached the Cau Giat intersection (Cau Giat town) and was hit by a taxi (license plate 37A 09848) turning left onto National Highway 48. The impact was so strong that the front of the motorbike was completely destroyed, with parts scattered all over the road. Ha was thrown about 5 meters away, suffering a broken arm and losing consciousness.

Immediately after the accident, people took the victim to the hospital for emergency treatment, and traffic police from Quynh Luu district also arrived promptly to investigate the cause and resolve the incident.
