Spain - The rise of left-wing influence
(Baonghean.vn) - The Spanish Socialist Workers' Party would win if the parliamentary election took place at the present time - that is the opinion of the Center for Sociological Investigation (Spain) after organizing a public opinion poll.
In the government elections in early June, the Socialists won only 84 seats out of 350 in the Spanish Parliament.
The results of the recent poll show that the support rate for the Socialist Workers' Party is already 30.5% among those polled. The Socialist Workers' Party is right behind it with 10% less - about 20.8%, although in the current structure of the National Assembly they have 134 out of 350 seats.

The right-wing party is followed by the Civic Party with around 19.6% of its supporters. They are the most active defenders of Spain's territorial integrity in Catalonia. After the crisis in Catalonia, they have strengthened their position significantly. They are currently the fourth most represented in the National Assembly.
The left-wing party Unidos Podemos ranked fourth in this poll with 16.1% of supporters. Thus, the left-wing force (including the Socialists and Podemos) has the highest support rate with 46.6% compared to the right-wing bloc with only 40.4%.

This poll was conducted from September 1 to 11, 2018 in all 50 provinces of Spain on 3,000 people. The next elections in Spain will take place in 2020. Is it possible that political instability, the complexity of the development trends of the European Union and especially different views on free trade, immigration, social security, East-West relations, policies of major countries - the axis of world development and global security make the Spanish people put more trust in the leftists?
