Nghe An Taekwondo won the first gold medal

(Baonghean.vn) - After the third day of taekwondo competition, Nghe An athletes won the first gold medal in the women's 68kg high school competition.

On the third day of competition, athletes competed for medals in the following weight categories: 41kg, 44kg, 47kg, 51kg, 55kg, 59kg for female middle school students; 55kg, 59kg, 63kg, 68kg for female high school students and the weight categories for male high school students were 59kg, 63kg, 68kg.

Taekwondo athlete Hoang Thi Thu Huong excellently brought home a gold medal for Nghe An delegation at the National Sports Festival.

In the 68kg weight class for high school girls, athlete Hoang Thi Thu Huong excelled over athletes from other groups to win the gold medal.

Tomorrow, athletes will compete for medals in the middle school and high school martial arts events.
