Nguyen Van Tuan, 19 years old, broke in and robbed 4.8 million VND, restrained and raped the female homeowner who was living with her two small children, but was robbed of the knife by the victim.

Tuan (Phuoc Tinh commune, Long Dien district) wore a red baseball cap, a mask covering his face, and used a homemade knife to break into a house in the same commune in the early morning of February 16.
He opened the bedroom door, held the 21-year-old woman at knifepoint, and took 4.8 million VND. The victim, fearing that she and her two children would be murdered, pretended to agree to let Tuan rape her. As soon as the robber lay down on the bed, the female homeowner took the knife and fought back, forcing him to run away to save his life.
On February 17, Tuan was arrested by Long Dien District Police (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) to investigate two acts.Robbery, Rape.
