Early Tet for children in the highlands
(Baonghean.vn) - Tam Hop Primary School (Tuong Duong), in coordination with Tam Hop Border Guard Station, organized an extracurricular program to explore traditional customs of Lunar New Year for students.
With the theme "Tet Day in the Highlands", on the afternoon of January 31, more than 400 students who are children of Tay Pong, Thai, Mong ethnic groups of Tam Hop Primary School participated in art performances, gong festivals, panpipe dances of ethnic groups, and made sticky rice cakes and wrapped Chung cakes with teachers and border guards.

In addition, children also competed in traditional ball throwing and answered questions about the origin of the nation's traditional New Year.

The extracurricular activity brought many useful things to the students of Tam Hop Primary School. This was an opportunity for them to have many experiences about the traditional Tet customs of the nation, helping them to promote and preserve these good values every time Tet comes and spring comes.
