Releasing the turtle in Thanh Chuong to Pu Mat National Park
(Baonghean.vn)- After being caught and recaptured many times by locals, on the morning of September 29, a nearly 16kg turtle in Nghe An was released into Pu Mat National Forest.
In addition to the turtle weighing nearly 16kg mentioned above, there are also 2 Sa Nhan turtles weighing 1kg, 2 wild boars, 6 porcupines, 2 bears, 5 monkeys (1 red-faced), 1 wild cat, and 1 loris also released into the forest.

These individuals were handed over by units (Police, Border Guard Stations, Market Management Teams, Forest Protection Departments, Forestry Companies, Protective Forest Management Boards) in districts and towns in the province during the performance of duties, detection and handling of forestry law violations, or individuals accidentally caught or bought them from others to hand over to the care team.

After being cared for and monitored, these individuals will be released back into nature. Previously, the team released 38 turtles back into the forest./.
