Previously, Que Phong District Police had confiscated the illegal traders and handed them over to the Pu Hoat Nature Reserve Management Board on the afternoon of May 10. After checking, they found the individuals healthy, so the team released 6 turtles with a total weight of 4.94 kg; 3 cobras weighing 2.5 kg and 1 python weighing 12 kg.

To ensure the safety of the above individuals, and to prevent them from being captured by local people in the forest, the working group walked for more than an hour, deep into the core of Pu Hoat Nature Reserve, to find an area with a water source favorable for the animals' survival before releasing them.
