Thailand announces list of players preparing for King's Cup 2019
(Baonghean.vn) - This afternoon (May 15), the Football Association of Thailand, FAT, announced the list of players to prepare for the King's Cup friendly tournament taking place in early June.
Although it is just a friendly tournament, the preparation for this tournament, from media to the quality of participating players, has been invested in and meticulously polished by host Thailand.
Looking through the preliminary list, we can see a few names of Thai football that are rising and are no longer unfamiliar to many Vietnamese football fans, such as goalkeeper Kawin Thammasajanan, Theerathorn Bunthaman, Chanathip Songkrasin, Thitiphan Phupchan or Theerasil Dangda, Supachai.

These names in recent years have shown their class at many top clubs in Japan or Europe. Among them, the most special is probably Chanathip Songkrasin, this striker is flying high and is an indispensable factor in the Constrado Les Sapporo squad.
With the best quality names that Thai football has, along with players who are playing well in the Thai League, the Thai national team is ready to regain the number 1 position in Southeast Asia from Vietnam as they declared when the draw ceremony was decided.
The opening match of King's Cup 2019 will take place at 3:30 p.m. on June 5 between Curacao and India before host Thailand welcomes Vietnam at 7:45 p.m. the same day.
