Thailand will fly flags at half-mast in memory of President Tran Dai Quang
In an official dispatch dated September 22, the Thai Prime Minister's Office requested government agencies in the country to fly flags at half-mast to commemorate the late Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang for three days.

The content of the dispatch is as follows: “Regarding the passing of Mr. Tran Dai Quang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 21, 2018, at the Military Hospital, Hanoi, Vietnam, the Prime Minister directs government agencies to fly flags at half-mast from Monday, September 24-26, for a total of 3 working days.”
Previously, on the evening of September 21 local time (ie the morning of September 22 Hanoi time), the Cuban Council of State announced the decision to hold a national mourning period in memory of Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang, who passed away on the morning of September 21 Hanoi time at the age of 62.
In a statement released on state television, Cuba will hold official mourning for President Tran Dai Quang from 6:00 a.m. on September 22 local time (5:00 p.m. on September 22 Hanoi time) to 12:00 a.m. on September 23 (11:00 a.m. on September 23 Hanoi time) and the national mourning ceremony will take place all day on September 24.
According to the announcement, during the national mourning period, public buildings and military headquarters across Cuba will fly flags at half-mast and no public entertainment or recreational activities will be held./.
