Police in eastern Thailand said that gunmen attacked an anti-government protest on the evening of February 22, injuring at least 35 people.

Police Lieutenant Thanabhum Newanit said that the gunmen, traveling in a small truck, attacked a protest organized by the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) in Trat province, about 300 km east of Bangkok.
