Thailand: Shooting into protest crowd, 35 injured
Gunmen attacked an anti-government protest in eastern Thailand on the evening of February 22, injuring at least 35 people, police said.
Police Lieutenant Thanabhum Newanit said the gunmen, riding in a pickup truck, attacked a protest organized by the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) in Trat province, about 300 km east of the capital Bangkok.

According to Lieutenant Thanabhum, the attackers opened fire on the crowd and two explosive devices detonated.
