Appraisal of new rural criteria in Nam Dan, Nghi Loc

(Baonghean.vn)- In the past 2 days, the Provincial New Rural Area Appraisal Council has appraised and approved the recognition of 2 communes: Nam Loc, Nam Cuong (Nam Dan) and Phuc Tho commune (Nghi Loc).

Nghe An province's New Rural Appraisal Council appraises New Rural Areas in Nam Cuong and Nam Loc communes (Nam Dan).

Immediately after being selected to build the new rural area, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Nam Cuong and Nam Loc communes (Nam Dan) and Phuc Tho commune (Nghi Loc) conducted a survey to establish a plan and project to build a new rural area, and collected people's opinions through the People's Council of the commune to approve the project.

In mobilizing resources for new rural construction, people voluntarily and actively contributed, Nam Cuong commune people contributed nearly 70%; Nam Loc people contributed 80% and Phuc Tho commune (Nghi Loc) 80%.

People of Nam Loc commune (Nam Dan) voluntarily donated land to open roads and rebuild new fences after donating land.

During 5 years of building new rural areas, Nam Cuong commune put over 30 hectares of large model fields into production.

Most localities have promoted the role of the people as the main subject. Many hamlets voluntarily contributed to building cultural houses.

Concluding the appraisal session, the Appraisal Council highly appreciated the efforts of Nam Loc and Nam Cuong communes (Nam Dan) and Phuc Tho commune (Nghi Loc) in striving to complete the new rural criteria.

The Council will soon complete the dossier and report for the province to consider and recognize the commune as meeting new rural standards.
