(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 15th, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police, along with representatives from several departments and units, visited and encouraged Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Hao, a police officer from Nam Dan district, who was injured while on duty.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau inquired about Comrade Hao's health condition at the treatment facility.

Implementing a plan to crack down on crime, the Nam Dan District Police assigned a task force to conduct investigations and stakeouts in the district. At approximately 8:00 AM on December 14th, in Hamlet 8, Nam Cuong Commune, the task force apprehended Le Quoc Tuan (born in 1988) and Son, both residing in Hamlet 3, Son Tra Commune, Huong Khe District, Ha Tinh Province, for stealing a Wave Anpha motorbike, license plate 37B2.10191, belonging to Bui Dinh Trung (born in 1991), residing in Hamlet 3, Nam Giang Commune, while Trung was visiting Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lien's house. The task force, in coordination with the Nam Cuong Commune Police, apprehended Tuan (Son escaped) and recovered one motorbike, one lock-picking tool, and one mobile phone. During the pursuit, Officer Nguyen Ngoc Hao was stabbed in the abdomen by the suspect using the lock-picking tool. His comrades took Comrade Hao to the Friendship General Hospital in Nghe An province for emergency treatment, and his health is now gradually recovering.

At the treatment facility, the leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Police visited, presented gifts, and encouraged Comrade Hao to rest assured during his treatment and recover quickly so that he could return to his unit to continue his work.
