Visiting and supporting the family of the victim who died due to a collapsed well in Tan Ky

On the afternoon of April 8, comrade Nguyen Van Hoa - Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee and comrade Lieutenant Colonel Tran Hoang Nhat - Commander of the Tan Ky District Military Command, along with members of the working delegation, approached the scene of the serious accident that caused3 people died due to well drillingto install concrete pipes to prevent landslides at Mr. Lang Van Bon's family in Hong Son hamlet, Tan Hop commune, Tan Ky district (Nghe An province).

On behalf of Tan Ky district leaders, comrade Nguyen Van Hoa expressed condolences, encouraged and gave each victim’s family 5 million VND in support. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee and government of Tan Hop commune and Hong Son hamlet to focus on helping the victims’ families. The Party Committee and government of Tan Hop commune also supported each victim’s family with 5 million VND.

As reported, at around 1:30 p.m. on April 8, at Mr. Lang Van Bon's house, 3 people were surveying a well to install a concrete pipe to prevent landslides when the well collapsed, burying all 3 people. Immediately after the incident, the local Party Committee and government of Tan Hop commune mobilized forces and excavators to rescue the victims. At the same time, they reported to the People's Committee of Tan Ky district to mobilize additional forces from the District Military Command for support.
After nearly 2 hours of effort, the 3 victims were pulled out of the well. However, due to the long time they were buried, the victims died. All 3 victims lived in Hong Son hamlet, Tan Hop commune, Tan Ky district. The identities were determined to be Mr. Lang Van Bon, born in 1976, the homeowner, the other 2 were Lang Dinh Phuc, born in 1983, Mr. Bon's brother-in-law, and Lang Dinh Bac, born in 1981, a relative of Mr. Lang Dinh Phuc.
