Visiting and giving gifts to families whose relatives died due to storm No. 2

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 20, the Thanh Chuong District Red Cross visited and gave gifts to families whose relatives died while overcoming the consequences of storm No. 2 in the district.

After storm No. 2, Thanh Chuong district had 2 people die due to storm damage. They are Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngai (80 years old) in hamlet 6A, Cat Van commune, who slipped and drowned while clearing trees on the edge of the pond, and Mr. Tran Van Lam (55 years old), in Trung Duong hamlet, Thanh Hung commune, who fell to his death while climbing to repair his house.

Present at the two families, the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts worth 6 million VND to the relatives of the unfortunate victims. This is the amount of money that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society supports and shares with the families in times of difficulty and misfortune.
