At the family, leaders of Quy Hop district expressed their condolences, encouraged and presented 7.4 million VND in support to Nguyen Van Hung's family. At the same time, they requested the local government to continue to care and help the family overcome the pain and gradually stabilize their lives.

Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on October 10, Ms. Ho Thi Sau (born in 1993), wife of Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, residing in Long Thanh hamlet, Tam Hop commune, used a rope to pull her sister's broken motorbike from behind to bring it home. When pulling it to the overflow culvert in Long Thanh hamlet, Tam Hop commune, it stopped. At this time, the motorbike being pulled behind suddenly crashed into Ho Thi Sau's motorbike, causing Ms. Sau to fall into the overflow culvert. At that time, the flood water was rising high and flowing rapidly, causing Ms. Sau to be swept away and go missing. After more than a day of searching, at 7:30 a.m. on October 11, the rescue team found Ms. Ho Thi Sau's body nearly 500 m from the overflow culvert where Ms. Sau fell./.
