Visiting and giving gifts on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Laos' National Day.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2020), a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial Military Command visited and presented gifts to encourage Lao students undergoing quarantine at the Nghe An College of Education's centralized quarantine facility.
On the morning of December 2nd, a delegation led by Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, visited and presented gifts to encourage Lao students undergoing quarantine at the centralized quarantine facility at Nghe An College of Education.

Previously, on November 26th, the Nghe An College of Education's centralized quarantine facility received 269 Lao students studying at 8 universities and colleges nationwide, including: the University of Medicine and Pharmacy under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Yen Bai University, and 6 universities and colleges in Nghe An province.
At the Nghe An College of Education's centralized quarantine facility, 269 Lao students are regularly briefed on and informed about COVID-19 prevention and control measures, undergo testing, and will be handed over to their respective schools after receiving satisfactory health check results and completing their 14-day quarantine period.

On this occasion, a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and Provincial Military Command presented 10 gifts and cash worth 25 million VND to all Lao students undergoing centralized quarantine at Nghe An College of Education. Of this amount, the Nghe An Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee contributed 15 million VND, and the Nghe An Provincial Military Command contributed 10 million VND.
