With his excellent drumming talent from the beginning of the competition, Trong Nhan was voted the winner by the audience. The boy was quite confident and comfortable while playing the drums, but when asked how he felt about winning the championship, Trong Nhan just smiled shyly and said "I'm very happy", making the audience and judges laugh.
Trong Nhan performed the opening act but did not lose his composure. He played the drums passionately while singing the song "The Flame of the Highlands" by musician Tran Tien. The 9-year-old boy from Da Lat made all three judges stand up and applaud. Viet Huong assessed that this was a performance that could be brought to compete in the international arena. Viet Huong further explained that she considered Trong Nhan a fellow artist, not a contestant.

Musician Huy Tuan took off his hat to the performance which he considered “extremely good”. He said that Trong Nhan has become a national asset and he and his colleagues have the responsibility to guide Trong Nhan and bring him out into the world.
Tran Thanh praised Trong Nhan for singing rock with a voice that is no less powerful than any rocker. "You must compete in finding the talent of this planet," Tran Thanh said.
Since appearing on the show, Trong Nhan has been considered a "drumming genius". Trong Nhan once competed with Quoc Binh - one of the top drummers in Vietnam - without showing any inferiority.

The runner-up of this year's competition was another musician, contestant playing the moon lute Trung Luong. Trung Luong performed the song Spectre at the gala night (watch video). Tran Thanh commented that this contestant had a lovely and sincere quality. "You are like a knight, instead of fighting with swords and knives, you fight with the moon lute. Your hands are like a spider crawling on the piano keys with very impressive technique." However, Tran Thanh assessed that the performance lacked explosiveness.
Musician Huy Tuan thought that the performance lacked the technique of playing the instrument, and was only passed over at the end, so it did not bring high stage effect. However, Huy Tuan liked Trung Luong's musical taste, advised him to produce a single right after leaving the show and promised to be Trung Luong's producer.

In the Top 4, group 218 brought to the gala night an LED performance called Memory (watch video) while Quynh Anh performed the opera-style song Blue River (watch video). Both performances were rated as good but did not make the judges feel "satisfied".
Previously, the three contestants selected by the judges for the gala were drummer Nguyen Trong Nhan, moon lute player Trung Luong and the LED dance group 218. Quynh Anh was the last contestant to enter the top 4 thanks to the audience's votes. This is the fourth year Vietnam's Got Talent has been held.
